Ch.6

The jews are forced to march through the snow from Buna, and it is extremely painful for Elie because of his foot. Elie feels like it would be better to die, but with encouragement from his father, he continues. While Elie is running, a boy from Poland runs up along side him and falls behind and get trampled on. The jews finally stop at an abandoned village which has no roof, so they are sleeping on snow.

Elie falls asleep because he is exhausted, but his father keeps him awake becuase bad things could happen to Elie if he fell asleep in the snow, and the two look out for each other. Later, a Rabbi Eliahou asks Elie if he has seen his son and Elie tells him he doesnt know. Elie then remembers the boys falling in the snow and being trampled on. After they leave the town, the jews are stationed at Gleiwitz. A massive pile is formed becuase the jews are rushing trying to get to the baracks, and Elie gets seperated from his father. Elie finds his father, but he also finds juliek from Buna. Elie falls asleep listening to Juliek play the violine, but when Elie awakes, Juliek is dead. Later, there is another selection but Elie and his father survive another one.

You seemed to fill in what everyone else left out... short and straight to the point. Good.
